I started playing with the WordPress API using ideas from API Nirvana – Functional Details, then I remembered CogDog's WordPress search javascript bookmarklet.

This is a quick test of the WP REST API searching across multiple blogs.

There is little in the way of error checking...

You can kick off a search on the page by adding a hash & the search term to the url:

Blogs to Search

This is a bit messy, you can delete these blogs and add other ones. The blogs need to support the WP rest API and cross domain access (I think).
